On Saturday, April 21st 2018, we took 30 men women and children to watch our beloved Bolton play.
Yes the Wanderers won, but it was the opponents Wolverhampton Wanderers, who triumphed 4-0.
Nevertheless we had a great day. For most it was their first ever visit to a professional ground.
The whole experience fascinated them, the modern stadium on the horizon as we approached, the buzz of anticipation outside the ground, the flags, mascots, music and players inside the stadium.
Even the four thousand or so Wolves fans celebrating their teams return to the Premier league as champions held our party in awe.
It was a great day and we have to again thank Adam and Phil at the Bolton Wanderers Community Trust, for their constant support of the project.
Finally, thanks to our BSS coach driver Phil, who as a loyal Bolton fan had to suffer the defeat.
